This contract is entered into between Jurgerson's Kennel and the bitch owner listed below and is a legal and binding contract.
Litter registration will not be signed until stud fee is paid in full. Two puppies whelped is considered a litter. If only one puppy is born
the stud fee will be rated at $400. It will be agreed prior to breeding, that the puppies will be raised in an acceptable manner, as is the standard of
practice by concerned breeders of purebred dogs. Puppies and their mother will receive needed medical attention as
required. Puppies will be raised in a clean environment with appropriate shelter and kept until at least seven (7)
weeks of age. All puppies produced by this breeding will be sold on Limited Registration unless sold into a
responsible competition/breeding home or are co-owned by the breeder. No puppy from this breeding will be
advanced to full registration. Unsold puppies will stay with the bitch owner until sold or placed. No puppy from this breeding will be sold to a
pet shop, through a puppy broker, or taken to any “pound” or “shelter”. Bitch owner is responsible for keeping her
away from any other intact male dogs for the time before breeding and for the remainder of her cycle after breeding.
If any puppy from this breeding is found to be afflicted with any known heritable disorder, stud owner will be
notified immediately.
The owner of the stud shall exercise due care and caution in handling the bitch but is in no way liable for injuries,
illness or loss of the bitch. The stud dog owner reserves the right to refuse stud service to any bitch for the
following reasons: Lack of requested information or failure to notify the stud dog owner within the first few days of the bitch’s coming season;
Any evidence that the bitch is not suitable for breeding or is not of breeding quality as determined by the stud dog
owner.
